- Why did you start to take jazz piano lessons? I wanted to compose and play jazz chords with more emotion and tension.
- What do you think about taking Jazz piano lessons?The lessons are helpful, and I get used to playing chords with emotion and tension. It is different learning jazz piano and music theory from a teacher than trying to study by myself.
- What excites you about learning Jazz piano?When I get a great idea during ad-libbing, and also when I get to play some amazing chords.
- How is Etsu as a teacher?She’s a nice person, easy to talk to and a strong personality. She always follows my pace during the piano lesson, so I never feel pressured or rushed. I have been taking lessons from Etsu for more than 3 years!
